The MoMA has collected some of the most recognizable arts works in the modern world. The challenge they have is that vistors only come to the museum for Special Exhibitions, and the permanent collection is considered boring. The Moma needed a new way to connect with local new yorkers.
Install the permanent collection in a subway station.
We created a program that would over a 6 week period, tease an installation in the Brooklyn Atlantic Pacific Station, then delight commuters with an engaging interactive display of over 50 works from MoMA's permanent collection.
